We have not visited Witkrans, the Uilenkraal Estuary and the Danger Point Peninsula in the Gansbaai district for some time now and will do so on Saturday 28 May. This outing is always popular as a variety of water birds and waders, species associated with forest and Fynbos habitats and coastal species have been recorded in the past. This area remains one of the special bird-watching destinations in the Overberg.
ARRANGEMENTS: We will meet at the Eastcliff Spar at 07h30 from where transport will be arranged. A R75.00 contribution for petrol applies to those who catch a lift. Those going to the site directly can meet us at Witkrans at 08h15. Bring along a picnic basket and ensure that you dress appropriately given the weather.
RSVP: Confirm your participation by WhatsApp with Anton at 082 550 3347 by 16h00 on Friday 27 May.
