A WORD OF THANKS FROM THE AFRICAN PENGUIN & SEABIRDS SANCTUARY
Posted on the 21st May 2015
We have received this letter of appreciation from Alouise Lynch of the Dyer Island Conservation Trust:
Dear Birdlife Overberg,
On behalf of the African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary we would like to say a very big thank you for your generous contribution to our Sanctuary, and your continued support of our rehabilitation work.
We have now completed our sponsorship wall, and thus please find a few photographs of your sponsorship plaque. Please also visit our website at www.africanpenguin.org for updates on the Sanctuary and our rehabilitation efforts.
We hope that you will be able to visit APSS soon to see your plaque for yourself, as well as have a tour of the facility. To date, we have rehabilitated 20+ marine birds, and currently we have two African Penguins in Rehabilitation which was caught through ghost fishing, entangled in a fishing net that was found washed up in the Struisbaai De Mond Reserve.
All the best from everyone at the DICT.
