RED-BILLED OXPECKER IN THE WESTERN CAPE
(Trevor Hardaker reports some more): Starting in the Western Cape, a RED-BILLED OXPECKER was seen yesterday at Keurbooms River Game Trails, a private game farm on the Garden Route. The bird was seen associating with a Blue Wildebeest at co-ordinates 33.50S 23.16E. According to the local rangers, they have being seeing Oxpeckers in the area since February already and suggestions are that there are probably several individuals in the area as well.
