SOME OF THE BEST BIRDING-WATCHING IN THE WESTERN CAPE PROVINCE

Posted on the 21st December 2014

Top bird-watching destinations in the Western Cape Province: Three recent postings on westencapebirding.co.za highlighting birding in the Cape Town, Cape Whale Coast and Plettenberg Bay regions were shared on Facebook. Within four days these items were viewed 3,500 times on Facebook alone, illustrating the growing interest in bird-watching in the province. Current research is aimed at the development of similar in-depth descriptions of the bird-watching potential of the Theewaterskloof local municipal area and this will probably be followed by web pages for the local municipal regions of Bergrivier, Witzenberg, Swellendam and Cape Agulhas.
