AFRICAN OPENBILLS STILL AROUND IN THE OVERBERG

As usual, we will start with a few more records of the continuing AFRICAN OPENBILL irruption which does not yet seem to have died out totally…

In the Western Cape, a group of 13 birds are still being reported moving between farms in the Grabouw area whilst another singleton is still present moving around in the Onrus area.

Saturday also saw at least 3 birds present at Arabella on the Bot River Lagoon whilst, on Sunday, a single bird was noted alongside the N7 near the Morning Star Dump Site.
