ON RED-FOOTED FALCONS ALONG THE UPLANDS ROAD, PLETT
Posted on the 5th February 2015
I went through to Plett on Sunday to try and relocate the RF Falcon. After finding the Amur Falcon roost (50+ birds) I knew that the RFF was lurking within the roost. Careful scanning of each bird reveal the same bird see n earlier (photo 1). After taking it all in I proceeded with the Uplands road to continue atlassing that pentad. Literally a few meters further I spotted a second RFF, a female (second photo). Other specials included two European Rollers and several Wing-snapping Cisticolas!
