MIKE GRAHAM REPORTS ON THEIR CURRENT VISIT TO THE BITOU RIVER LODGE

At 2.00pm today a Pale Chanting Goshawk (lone adult) sighted about 5km from R326 junction with N2 (15km from Riviersonderend). Perched on a telegraph pole
The Grass Owls (at least one anyway) still resident at Bitou River Lodge. No access without permission from owner and absolutely NO flushing from grass. Birds fly at dusk every day.
Buff-spotted Flufftail heard at Bitou River Lodge also. African Finfoot sighted on the Keurbooms River.
