WHITE-BROWED SCRUB-ROBIN AT NATURE'S VALLEY

Posted on the 19th April 2013

News has just filtered through to me that a WHITE-BROWED SCRUB ROBIN was mist-netted and ringed near Nature’s Valley on Wednesday. It was apparently caught in the fynbos along the R102 on the ridge just before it descends down the Groot River Pass into Nature’s Valley on the Plettenberg Bay side. This is a fantastic record for the Western Cape – I am personally only aware of one definite record for the province from the Wilderness area although there may well be others from the Nature’s Valley and Uniondale areas as well.

Good luck if you are planning on chasing this one!

Kind regards

Trevor
