Update from – Gareth Robbins:

I have been given a great opportunity to do some freelance guiding for the Hunter Hotel Group in the Marekele National Park from the 23 June 2012 until the 20th July, so unfortunately I will miss a couple of talks and the storms river outing which I really was looking forward to attending.

I have just come back from a few days in the Kruger National Park, and I have attached a trip report which can be used in the next news letter.

I have also been chatting to Tony Lubner from Ocean Blue Adventures and we are keen at getting a regular Pelagic heading out from Central beach.

We would like to have members of the Bird Club attend a Pelagic to see what birds could been seen on a pelagic and to contribute their knowledge and expertise to make this Pelagic a first class experience to visitors to Plettenberg Bay.

There is a maximum of 30 people that can attend and it will cost R100 per person.

The trip will take approximately 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on what we see.

Unfortunately this will be a first come first serve outing and we are aiming to head out on the 25th July 2012 if the weather is suitable.

Please could the you let me know beforehand who would like to join and if i can get e-Mail addresses so that I can notify the interested parties well before the trip will take place.

Please contact me via e-Mail should you wish to know any more information.
