LANGEBAAN TOWN AND QUARRY

The holiday town of Langebaan is situated right on the doorstep to the West Coast National Park and birding in this town should not be underestimated as fynbos species and shorebirds are easily accessed. The most notable birding site is probably the Quarry that is clearly signposted on the way to Club Mykonos on the road to Saldanha Bay - this site is best known for its breeding pair of Verreaux’s Eagles.
