SWIFT AND BUZZARDS ON THE WEST COAST
Mentioning Swifts. I was out at Langebaan the past w/e (19 July) and saw a couple of Alpine Swift -not unusual for winter, but also 3 black swift and a single little swift.
Even more interesting were two 'Steppe' buzzards near Langebaanweg, where we have observed some strangely marked buzzards before, not unlike our Elgin Mystery buzzards.
Has anyone had any other sightings in that area?
