THE SECRET LIVES OF BIRDS OF PREY ONLINE BIRDING COURSE (PART 2)

Happening from the 5th September 2020 to 6th September 2020

The contents of the ‘Flight for Birders’, ‘Flight Higher’ and ‘The Secret Life of Raptors’ courses by Dr Anton Odendal have been adapted for several shorter courses each consisting of five individual one-hour sessions. These are being presented online via Zoom and can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.

The second part of THE SECRET LIVES OF BIRDS OF PREY online course is aimed at celebrating many of the species and conservation issues not featured during the first course. The course coincides with International Vulture Awareness Day and several issues threatening these birds, as well as Secretarybirds and our migrating raptors will be addressed. Several rare and vagrant raptors species will be celebrated and raptor birding opportunities in one of our large National Parks will be highlighted. The text used during the course will be included in basic course notes to be forwarded to all participants before the course starts. The course will assist participants to appreciate these magnificent birds even more.
