The annual “RED FLOWER MORNING BIRDING OUTING” to Rooiels and Harold Porter
Happening on the 20th January 2018
Morning outing on Saturday 20 January: The annual “RED FLOWER MORNING BIRDING OUTING” to Rooiels and Harold Porter
This outing has become a tradition as we enjoy brilliant birding while celebrating blooming Brunia stokou at Rooiels and Red Disas at Harold Porter. Specials could include Cape Rock-jumper, Ground Woodpecker, Sentinel Rock-Thrush, Victorin’s Warbler, Blue-mantled Crested-Flycatcher, Verreaux’s Eagle and many more. This is a ‘must do outing’. Have a look at the report of last year’s outing:
We will meet at the Onrus OK at 07:00 from where transport will be arranged – the R 75.00 petrol levy will apply if you catch a lift. Those going there directly can meet us at the Rooiels gate at 07:45. Remember protection against the sun and bring a picnic basket.
RSVP: Anton at email@example.com or sms at 082 550 3347.
