A ONE DAY WORKSHOP CELEBRATING BIRDING ALONG THE CAPE WHALE COAST

Happening on the 14th June 2017

(A workshop on "Birding for beginners" forming part of the FynArts Festival in Hermanus).

Join Dr Anton Odendal to discover the beauty of the birds along the Cape Whale Coast. One of the region’s greatest assets is the sheer diversity of its highly sought-after endemic and near-endemic bird species. This workshop will introduce you to the rich avian diversity of the area and emphasise where these special species may be found.
The aims of the workshop are to unlock the enjoyment of bird-watching and to celebrate the beauty of birds.
Anton, chairman of BirdLife Overberg, has developed bird identification brochures, checklists and posters. He is also the manager of the Western Cape Birding website and Facebook page.
