DE MOND NATURE RESERVE COMPLEX DRAFT PROTECTED AREA MANAGEMENT PLAN

CapeNature has compiled a draft Protected Area Management Plan (PAMP) for the De Mond Nature Reserve Complex consisting of Waenhuiskrans, De Mond and Soetendalsvlei Nature Reserves and has appointed Duncan Heard Environmental Consulting to facilitate the public participation process. The draft PAMP can be downloaded from the www.capenature.co.za website – the tab for downloading will be clearly visible on the website’s Home page before this weekend. You have been identified as a potential Stakeholder/Interested and Affected Party (I&AP) and have automatically been registered as an I&AP. Should you want to be removed from the registered list please inform the Consultant by return e-mail.
I&APs wishing to comment on the draft PAMP must send their comments in writing together with their full name, organisation, address and preferred contact details to the Consultant at the e-mail, fax or address listed below.
Please note that the draft PAMP can also be viewed at the Bredasdorp, Arniston and Struisbaai public libraries as well as at the De Mond Nature Reserve Office. On 6 February 2014 there will be a further
participation opportunity to register and view the draft PAMP as well as associated maps and figures from 15:30 and to attend a public participation presentation starting at 17:30 at the Glaskasteel Hall, Recreation Street, Bredasdorp.
Comments in writing must reach the Consultant by 17 February 2014.
