ABSTRACTS OF PAPERS ON AFRICAN PENGUIN CONFEFRENCE
Posted on the 27th March 2011
Ornithological Observations, a joint initiative of the ADU and BirdLife South Africa, is an e-journal which publishes information about birds.
A new article was put on the OO website today (http://oo.adu.org.za) - it contains the abstracts of all the papers and posters presented at the international penguin conference last year - these are all the presentations that either dealt with the African Penguin, or which had authors with African addresses. The idea is to provide a broader audience opportunity to gain an insight into the scope of the contribution we have made at the conference.
We are grateful to the conference organizers at the New England Aquarium, in Boston, for permission to reproduce the abstracts in this way.
On the OO website, chose "current volume" down the left hand side menu. The current volume also contains articles on the White-fronted Plover, Blue Cranes and Great White Pelicans.
